More Fact.

There are many problems out in the world but the main topic of the day is abuse. Abuse is something that people should be aware of. It’s been happening for a long time. We as the people have worked hard to make a law to stop this problem but it’s not enough because it is still happing out there in the world. But we must stop this problem for good.

There are three major types of abuse that will be discussed in this paper. The first one is child abuse, which all started in the late 1900’s during the Industrial Revolution time. Back than life was not so good, many factories started to come in place and kids as young as “five years old” started to work “sixteen hours a day”. (Abuse during the Industrial Revolution) In some of these factories kids would be pined down to machines and overseers who would have whips would “ensure productivity”. (Abuse during the Industrial Revolution)

During that time women were allowed to be hit by men. In 1974 there was a law that was passed which “encouraged remaining states to pass child protection laws and created the National Center on Child Abuse and Neglect”. (Answers Encyclopedia) And some may have stopped but it still happening! There are many ways that kids can be abuse such as Mentally, Verbally, Physically.

Mental abuse also referred to as emotional abuse or Psychological abuse, which may occur by verbal abuse. Emotional abuse comes in different ways like ignoring and rejecting which is giving him or her the silent treatment. Isolation which is not allowing kid to have friends, keeping a kid in its room all the time and preventing a kid from playing sports or doing other social activities. Corruption which is when A parent allows a children to use drugs or alcohol, “to watch cruel behavior toward animals; to watch pornographic materials and adult sex acts; or to witness or participate in crimes such as stealing, assault, prostitution, gambling” or the abuse of others, whether it might be the abuse of a parent, a sibling, or even a pet.
Another type of emotional abuse is Terrorization which is where a parent may focus all of his or her anger on one child or criticize the child for different actions. The child may be threatened continually. And “Constant belittling, shaming, and humiliating a child” may happen.
Another part of emotional abuse is name Calling and making negative comparisons to the child and Telling a child that  he or she is “no good, worthless, bad, or a mistake” And frequently yelling, threatening, or bullying a child.( Joanna Saisan, M.S.W., Melinda Smith, M.A., and Jeanne Segal, Ph.D.) One of the biggest key is Limited physical contact which can be no hugs, kisses, or other signs of affection.
Emotional abuse is a “behavior that is designed to control” a child by the use of “fear, humiliation, and verbal or physical assaults”. (There is life after abuse) Emotional abuse is like “brainwashing” in that it’s a plan to wear away their “victim's self-confidence, sense of self-worth, trust in her perceptions, and self-concept”. Emotional abuse can reach down to a child’s “core” and it can create a “scars’ that can stay for a long time more than a physical one. (There is life after abuse) Emotional abuse victims all way blame themselves for being worthless and that no one wants anything to do with them.
Verbal abuse is when a child is being put down by mean word, name calling, which might cause harm to the child. verbal abuse come in many ways for example shouting, insulting, threatening and shaming, Blowing the child’s   flaws out of proportion and making fun of you in front of others and other forms of communication. Verbal abusers may act like nothing ever happened, it because they feel that they have control. (Evans)
Physical abuse is when a parent or a caretaker harms a child by Hitting, shaking, pushing, or throwing a child, pinching or biting the child, pulling a child by their hair. Even cutting off a child’s hair is a different form of physical abuse. Some other ways abuse can happen is if a child Has unexplained burns, bites, bruises, broken bones, or even a black eyes, “fading bruises or other marks noticeable after an absence from school, Seems frightened of the parents and protests or cries when it is time to go home”.( Child Welfare Information Gateway)
The next major type of abuse is domestic violence. Domestic violence is a “pattern of behavior” where a person tries to “gain or maintain power and control over” a loved one. (National Domestic Violence Hotline) Domestic violence may happen to any race, age, sexual orientation, religion or gender. Domestic violence can also happen to couples that are married and living with each other or dating.  Domestic violence can even happen to “people of all socioeconomic backgrounds and education levels”. (National Domestic Violence Hotline)
Domestic violence is a problem that is often “overlooked, excused, or denied” (help guide), which is especially true when the abuse is psychological, rather than physical. Emotional abuse is often small but it can leave a deep and lasting scar. Domestic violence starts as threats and leads to verbal abuse and end up with violence. While physical injury may be obvious but emotional and psychological “consequences” of Domestic violence are also severe.
Some of the signs of Domestic violence are feeling afraid of your partner much of the time, feeling that you can’t do anything right for your partner, feeling emotionally helpless, avoiding certain topics out of fear of angering your partner, your partner being in a bad mode all the time, seeing you as property or a sex object and forcing you to have sex rather than seeing you as a person, hurting you, threatening to hurt or kill you, threatening to take your children away or harm them, threatening to commit suicide if you leave. Some of the serious stuff that will happen are that your partner will humiliate or yell at you, criticize you and put you down, treating you so badly that you will be embarrassed for your friends or family to see, blaming you for their own abusive actions, acting excessively jealous, controlling where you go or what you do, keeping you from seeing your friends or family, limiting your access to money or phone, or even a car, constantly check up on you.
Last but not least the third major abuse that will be discuss which is also known as animal abuse. Animal abuse has been here for years ever seen the medieval times. There are so many reasons why people abuse animals. Animal abuse is broken down into two main categories “active and passive, also referred to as commission and omission” (Animal cruelty)
Passive is where there is lack of action, caring for, which mean there are Severe animal neglects like “starvation, dehydration, parasite infestations, allowing a collar to grow into an animal's skin” also not going to see veterinary care when an animal needs medical attention. (Animal cruelty)Active cruelty is were a person has “deliberately and intentionally caused harm to an animal”. They are also known as “NAI” (Non-Accidental Injury). (Animal cruelty)

These are very serious actions. And these action are types of behaviors associated with “sociopathic behavior”. (Animal cruelty) Animal abuse happened in abusive homes. In some cases a parent or domestic partner who is abusive may try to kill, or threaten to kill, the household pet so they can intimidate family members into sexual abuse or to remain silent about their previous or current abuse. Animal abuse happens a lot, every year 100 million animals die in experiments and testing’s, every year 1 billion animals are slaughtered by the leather industries. (Animal Cruelty.net) animal are abuse in many ways, Cows are fed unnatural food that contain dead chickens, pigs, and other animals. To be able to test cosmetics, cleaners, and other products, hundreds of thousands of animals are poisoned, blinded, and killed every year.
